BC Groundwater Consulting Services Ltd. is a specialized firm that provides assistance to a wide variety of clients dealing with groundwater issues.  We specialize in the sustainable development, protection and management of groundwater resources throughout British Columbia.  We assist clients with project management services, technical studies, field supervision and regulatory approvals.  We take pride in freely offering advice to individuals who wish to gain knowledge about water resources. BC Groundwater also sponsors various small water utilities who could not otherwise afford technical assistance. 

BC Groundwater is committed to providing excellent services to all clients, regardless of the project size or budget.  It is our belief that all citizens deserve access to safe and dependable groundwater supplies.  The size of our firm enables us to adjust project fees to suit the finances of our clients.  Mr. Thierry M. Carriou, P.Eng. (Principal Hydrogeologist) has been a practicing hydrogeologist in British Columbia since 1993.  He has thorough experience in well development and provides training to both industry and government.  Mrs. Lisa A. Carriou provides field support and various tecnician duties.  BC Groundwater is also supported by a province-wide network of technical professionals who operate as independant contractors.

As a private consulting firm, BC Groundwater has developed strong ties to professionals and contractors in the groundwater industry.  This facilitates the ability for BC Groundwater to retain professionals and contractors who are experts in their field.  In our opinion, this provides a very strong position for clients who require work ranging from the completion of high-capacity wells and detailed technical studies, through to private residents who wish to complete a dependable well for their home at a reasonable cost.
